• I would like to tell you about the outstanding service that Shanna Thomas gave me and my bother when we were looking for a facility for my mother. I called her and in less than an hour she arrived at the hospital where my mother was located. She spoke to my mother, brother and I and then assessed where she would be best located and then commenced to show us around town. She is very knowledgeable about her area of concentration. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to place a loved one in a home.

• Today I had one of the harder days of my life. Being the only child of an aging parent it is so scary when the time comes to decide who and where he will live out those final years. But, I had an angel in my corner named Lori Miller. When Lori called me I was feeling so scared and lost, not knowing where to turn or what questions I should ask. Lori picked my up in her car, and was so comforting and eager to learn all she could to help me find just the right place for my Dad. She made me feel as though nothing else mattered to her and was so helpful about what questions I should ask and how to look at different things. She made a pretty horrible day seem so much easier that I ever thought possible. If you are looking for someone to help you, and want to feel as though you are doing the right thing and feel good about doing it, then Lori is the angel you want in your corner!

• Dear Daniel, Now that Mom has been living at your home in NW Glendale for almost a year, I would like to share my observations regarding the superior level of loving care and genuine concern that truly make a HUGE difference in caring for the elderly. As you may recall, I have been overseeing the placement and care of my parents over the last four years and during that time, I have had to relocate them five times before finding you through a referral from Hospice. I have found that just because a facility or home looks clean and nice, it does not guarantee the care givers are qualified or really care for the individual, or that the quality of food is good or home cooked. In mom’s case she had special dietary needs you accommodate. It does not guarantee the elderly person will get help at any hour of the day or night, or that prescription meds will get picked up, or that adequate transportation for doctor’s appointments is available. I am thankful that mom and dad found a good, loving home to live in and be cared for. Your setting is truly “just like home,” in the sense that both my parents and our family feel and know there is genuine concern for the resident. Mom feels totally secure and knows she gets the assistance she needs ANY time she needs it! You and your wife Eriona, have made mom and us feel just like family. You arrange for medications to be picked up, doctor appointments and actually travel with mom to doctors and stay with her and communicate with medical providers on her behalf. With a large family for me to tend to and my demanding profession, which also requires travel, there is no way we could provide the level of care mom needs so much. You and your family have made a difference in the quality of mom’s life and her needs and have been a source of comfort to all of us. We are grateful for all that you do.
