• My mother had a stroke. While she was in the Skilled Nursing Facility, I knew that we'd have to find an Assisted Living Group Home. I tried various methods of obtaining a list of homes and started calling them on my own. Very quickly, I found that it was hard to keep track of what each home offered and I could only review a couple at a time. I thought with my vast business and analytical skills that it should be fairly simple. I was mistaken. "There has to be a better way" I said to an employee of the Skilled Nursing Facility. My husband and I went with him to see the homes and within an overall timeframe of about 4 hours, we found the perfect spot! Even my husband and I wanted to move in! I'm so glad that I used Good Hands Placement Agency. It made my responsibility for my mother so much easier.

• For anyone who ever has to make the decision of placing their loved one, rest assured that group home placement is a great alternative, and one that we were so grateful to learn of. We knew only of traditional means, such as home health care (which was completely unaffordable) and also Long Term Skilled Nursing Facility (another very expensive option). We truly felt we were out of options and knew that my Aunt needed 24- hour care and could not return home. After 3 falls within a week's time and getting weaker each day with her chemotherapy, she spent 3 weeks in the hospital and 21 days in a skilled nursing facility. We needed options and fast as her Medicare benefit for Skilled Nursing was to expire and she would become "private pay". A friend had mentioned an affordable alternative, Group Home placement, which was about a third of the cost that we were anticipating. I didn't know even the first place to find information into this new arena until we were referred to Good Hands Placement Agency. At first I was skeptical but also open to options, but after our first phone conversation, I felt most confident that we were in "good and caring hands". After our first meeting, I felt that Daniel was more like our knight in shining armor! We had met on a Sunday and he transported my Aunt in her wheelchair (and myself), to visit 6 different homes that he had researched to meet our criteria (being location and costs). The only difficulty we encountered was having to decide which one we would choose as each of them had so much to offer! Daniel even went above and beyond the call of duty to assist in the actual move (since he was aware of my busy work schedule). Daniel is a true gem that took our needs very seriously and at all times made my Aunt feel like she was involved in the process. After the move, Daniel's services did not stop there. He actually still follows up with us and with her to see how she is doing. And doing well she is! She is doing wonderful in her new home and I now can rest again at night knowing she is safe and very well cared for. Our family will forever be grateful to Daniel Robescu of Good Hands Placement Agency.

The whole family agrees that he is being well taken care of at Amy's home. Although it was the farthest of the three homes we visited, it is only a 10-minute drive for my mom, and she has been visiting daily. • I received a late afternoon telephone call informing me that my Mother had suffered a stroke and was recovering in a Glendale Arizona rehabilitation center. A few days later the center’s therapist and social worker informed me that without daily assistance, it was not safe for my Mother to be living on her own. My challenge was to find a group home which could provide immediate care for my Mother and Aunt as well as manage their future requirements when their health and personal care needs increased. To complicate matters even further, I had to locate a trusted resource in three weeks before my Mother was discharged from the rehabilitation center.My initial search led me to a number of websites for group homes and rehabilitation centers in the Glendale Arizona area as well as local eldercare placement services. Though all agencies and homes appeared professional, none made me feel comfortable enough to consider them as trusted resources. I needed a resource that could help me locate not just a place for my Mother and Aunt but a new home to care for them for the rest of their lives. Eventually I received a referral for Daniel Robescu of Good Hands Placement Agency. While other services claimed to be counselors, Daniel and his company are in my opinion true counselors. Daniel asked many questions and after analyzing my needs, provided many resources and solutions I hadn’t considered. Then once I determined the type of group home I needed for my Mother and Aunt, he assisted me in visiting and interviewing each home I was considering. The home we ultimately selected was a difficult decision because every one of the group homes Daniel arranged for my interview was exceptionally clean, friendly and caring. I would have been very comfortable relocating my Mother and Aunt to any of the prospective homes. Daniel and his company handled everything for me from coordinating my Mother’s rehabilitation hospital release, the group home interviews and tours, and finally to the transportation and settling in of my Mother and Aunt into their new home.My family and I are very happy and relieved. My mother and Aunt are now safe, well cared for and have all of their needs provided for them. I have been very impressed with the service and care Daniel has provided and I am very comfortable recommending Daniel Robescu and Good Hands Placement Agency for anyone seeking assistance with elder care and placement.
